NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The family of 11-year-old Marco Archer witnessing a successful second test run of the MARCO alert system, Wednesday.

Just over a decade after the tragic kidnapping and murder of 11-year-old Marco Archer, his family continues to struggle to cope with the devastating loss.

His sister Tancia Humes says attending events in their brother’s honor is a very emotional ordeal but the alert system is long overdue and necessary.

The MARCO Alert System was tested by BTC today. MARCO is an acronym standing for Mandatory Aggressive Action for Rescuing Children Operation. Today’s exercise follows an Aliv test last November. Minister of National Security Wayne Munroe.

Assistant Commissioner of police, Zhivago Dames says the alert system can better assist law enforcement with missing children’s cases.
