Prosecutors say Alfred Coakley is responsible for the April 26 shooting death of 21-year-old Demetrius Butler.

According to police, Butler was sitting on the porch of his home in Golden Palm Estates around 11pm when he was shot.

Butler ran inside his home and died.

Coakley didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.
