NASSAU, BAHAMAS – There’s Daniella Joseph and her son Liam, a fourth-grader with a heart of gold.

Liam’s gesture of taking his lunch money to buy a Valentine’s Day balloon heart for his mom melted hearts everywhere.

In the video, he eloquently expresses just how much his mom means to him but what lies beneath the surface is a story that tugs even harder at the heartstrings.

But that didn’t happen.

And the eight-year-old shared with me why he decided not to eat lunch that day.

Since the video went viral, garnering over 660 thousand views, Liam has been inundated with an outpouring of support, both emotional and financial, from friends, family, and strangers alike.

And Liam, in his wisdom beyond his years, had this message for kids everywhere.

And there’s more to this heartwarming story. In a show of support, Our News and Cable Bahamas Group of companies decided to extend a helping hand to Liam and his mom.

With joy in our hearts, we gifted Liam with a brand-new phone, some delectable treats, and the opportunity to share a Valentine’s breakfast with our engineering team.

In a world where kindness often goes unnoticed, it’s stories like these that serve as a beacon of hope, reminding us of the goodness that resides within us all.

So here’s to Liam, Daniella, and the countless unsung heroes out there spreading love and light in their own special way.
