NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A father is reeling from the loss of his son, who was shot and killed as he was picking up his daughter on Sunday morning.

As his dad tells us, the harrowing incident sent shockwaves through their tight-knight family.

Winston Woodside is a grieving father, grappling with the devastating loss of his son, Michael Woodside.

The father of six, was gunned down during the early Sunday morning.

The 35-year-old, who was known by those close to him as Mikey, was shot and killed by two men driving a small silver car early Sunday morning just as he was leaving home to carry his 16-year-old daughter to church.

His grief-stricken father recalls the dreadful events of that morning.

According to his father, Michael worked on boat tour excursions and was a hard-working man who didn’t bother anyone.

Not naive to the fact that his son might have gotten himself into trouble, Woodside says his son shouldn’t have died the way he did.

Also caught in the crossfire was his 16-year-old granddaughter. She was grazed by a bullet but has since been released from the hospital and is now being looked after by her mother.

A teary-eyed Woodside had this message for his son’s killers.
