Elizabeth Training Institute Launched

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Sixty Elizabeth Estates constituency residents are on their way to better careers having picked up some important professional skills.

In the very first sitting of the Elizabeth Training Institute parliamentarian Jobeth Coleby Davis admits she’s surprised by the overwhelming response.

The curriculum includes resume writing, professional skills, interviewing and communication skills.

Program Coordinator Aldeka Colebrooke says that her focus is on the dos and don’ts of crafting a professional resume.

Participants are officially certified and leave with new resumes.

The minister says she hopes to make the training more consistent.
