NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Lynden Pindling International Airport is experiencing a high volume of traffic, as lots of tourists are in town for the spring break holiday and with the Easter holiday only a few days away even more visitors are expected.

Over 70,000 passengers are expected to pass through the doors of LPIA this Easter holiday weekend.

That confirmation coming from the Vice President of Operations Jonathan Hanna.

Hanna reveals the high volume of passengers is expected to begin on Thursday of this week.

But where exactly are these visitors coming from?

And while it’s been said that Bahamians are often not on time, he’s sharing why it’s important to be at the airport three hours ahead of your international flight.

Traffic management is also a concern.
