NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teen is behind bars charged with the murder of his 25-year-old relative.

Prosecutors say Topaz Baillou was fatally stabbed on March 22 during an argument with his 15-year-old family member.

The teen didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder charge when he appeared before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr along with his mother.

He’s been remanded to the Juvenile Center at the Bahamas Department of Corrections.

He’s next in court on June 27 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
