NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Democratic National Alliance Leader Branville McCartney is showing no interest in returning to politics.

But who does he think should lead the Free National Movement?

Earlier this week McCartney told a local daily that he supports Dr. Minnis return as leader of the FNM and possibly the prime minister.

Questioned on his position, he says Minnis is a better man for the job.

With a hurricane and major pandemic, McCartney says Dr. Minis didn’t get a fair chance.

As the FNM sets their eyes on convention, McCartney says whoever will fill the seat as leader, must display a unified front to have a chance at winning in the next general election.
