NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The summer semester is now in full swing at the University of The Bahamas, and students are taking full advantage of the recent expansion of the government’s tertiary grant programme. The grant now officially covers summer courses.

We took some time to wander onto the university campus to speak with some of the students about the recent achievements and what other improvements they would like to see in the university in the future.

With focus and determination in the eyes of every student, it’s evident that the University of The Bahamas has kept its word of building brighter futures for Bahamians.

As the institution celebrates 50 years, students hope the university continues to stay true to its mission – to advance and expand access to higher education.
