NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A family is devastated after they watched in horror as a husband and father was gunned down after being ambushed by three masked gunmen.

The horrific scene happening outside a shopping plaza in southern New Providence. It pushes the murder count to 85, according to Our News records.

The daily routine of many Cowpen Road residents was interrupted by gunfire Thursday morning when a man was shot and killed outside a business.

The shocking crime unfolding in front of his wife and children.

The scene was covered with at least a dozen green cones, an indication of the excessive number of gunshots fired in the incident.

Police tell us they got word of the deadly incident after 9am. When they arrived on the scene they found the man believed to be in his forties on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police confirmed the man was shopping at a convenience store in the plaza.

Samuel Rolle, who lives just a few feet from where the killing happened, says he saw the shooting’s heartbreaking aftermath.

We also learned the victim was a frequent customer of the convenience store where he took his last breath.

The store, that’s usually open for business all day, closed its doors early following the tragic incident.
