Jazz, NY Yankees Lose Opening Game 3-6

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Jazz Chisholm went 2-for-5 with two singles and tied the record for most stolen bases in a World Series game, swiping three bags in a loss to the Dodgers.

Jazz Shines in World Series Despite Loss

Jazz Chisholm went 2-for-5 with two singles and tied the record for most stolen bases in a World Series game, swiping three bags in a loss to the Dodgers.

In the top of the 10th inning, with the game tied 2-2, Chisholm used his speed to manufacture a run for the Yankees. After stealing second and third, he scored on a fielder’s choice by Anthony Volpe to give his team the lead.

However, the Dodgers took the win when Freddie Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 10th. Giancarlo Stanton also homered for the Yankees.


Bahamas Soccer Teams Compete at Orlando Cup

The Bahamas sent teams to compete in the U-10, U-14, and U-16 divisions at the Orlando Cup.

The U-10s struggled, finishing 0-3. Dwayna Lynes was their standout player.

The U-14 team went 2-1 in group play before losing in the semifinals.

The U-16s, comprised of U-15 players competing in an older division, dominated, finishing 3-0 and outscoring their opponents 62-6. Chris Munroe was named MVP of the tournament.
