ST. KITTS – CARICOM Security and Law Enforcement Ministers are set to meet in St. Kitts and Nevis this week, tackling transnational crime as a top agenda item.

Starting Thursday, the two-day meeting will be chaired by St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, who has prioritized regional crime-fighting efforts.

Discussions are expected to focus on intelligence sharing, border security, and unified laws to combat criminal activities across borders.

Dr. Drew emphasized the importance of collaboration, saying, “our collective security depends on working together to protect our citizens and ensure a safe Caribbean.”
