Crypto Desk To Be Created

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Davis administration taking steps to fulfill its self-imposed mandate of making The Bahamas a leader in the evolving digital assets space.

Sasha Lightbourne reporting tonight that the Deputy Prime Minister recently outlining those steps in a recent rotary meeting.

The ongoing discussions in the local and international financial sector – on the future of crypto and digital asset – leading to the question of whether a ministry of technology and innovation should be created.

The Deputy Prime Minister comments coming at the weekly meeting of the Rotary Club of West Nassau.

The Deputy Prime Minister saying the desk would create a sort of one-stop-shop to enable the framework for the industry in an easy, transparent manner, and as “pain-free as possible”.
