NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of snapping his girlfriend’s back, leaving her paralyzed is behind bars on an attempted murder charge.

Prosecutors say 26-year-old Kevin Taylor tried to kill Syretta Dames on January 12 after the couple had an argument.

Taylor didn’t have to plead to the attempted murder charge when he stood before Magistrate Kendra Kelly.

Bail was denied and he returns to court on March 22 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
