NASSAU, BAHAMAS – He’s a familiar face. One known for standing up for the rights of all Bahamians, but he says he’s using his voice to represent the people of West Grand Bahama and Bimini in the upcoming by election.

Leader of the Coalition of Independents, Lincoln Bain telling me today that the decision to drop his hat in the race was not on his own.

As for the critics who may say that Bain is an outsider looking in, he says that’s not the case.

Former Member of Parliament Obie Wilchcombe held the west GB and Bimini seat until his recent passing, and many have said that the one who follows him will have big shoes to fill, but Bain says he believes he’s the right man for the job.

The Coalition of Independents leader issuing this challenge to other parties ahead of the upcoming by-election.
