NASSAU, BAHAMAS – As the first anniversary of the Progressive Liberal Party’s election win approaches, PLP Chairman and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fred Mitchell is insisting minimum wage will increase soon.

Mitchell is the latest top-ranking Cabinet Minister to insist this particular campaign promise is close to becoming a reality.

He says reports are currently before Cabinet, however, he could not confirm when this increase would take place.
