POLAND – Poland says it has delivered four leopard tanks – and is prepared to deliver more quickly – on the anniversary of Russia’s invasion.

Ukraine is hoping its allies will deliver dozens of the German-made tanks – and that this could prove a game-changer on the battlefield.

Russia still occupies one fifth of Ukrainian territory and appears to be re-starting major offensives across the vast front-line.

President Zelensky says he is waiting to use more western hardware, like tanks, to break the deadlock – vowing his country will do everything to achieve victory.

Meanwhile, the U.S. has announced more sanctions against Russia and has said it will provide Ukraine with another $2B worth of weaponry.
