NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamas Taxi Cab Union President Wesley Ferguson is calling for a return to the glory days.

His clarion call comes after an incident involving a visitor who claims she and her family were abandoned by a taxi driver.

He says unfortunately the industry has evolved into one over the years that doesn’t have any “Checks or balances.”

To solve this Ferguson says the union has been lobbying for the reestablishment of the Disciplinary Tribunal Court.

Ferguson says the union has looked into the previous act during the pandemic along with ways to improve it, however they have not received a response yet.
