UB Signs $45k MOU with Culinary Company

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Culinary Arts and Tourism Studies Department at the University of The Bahamas will now have 45,000 reasons to celebrate.

The university signing a $45,000 agreement with Global Culinare Incorporated for scholarships for up to six students studying culinary arts. Chef Romero Dorsette, alumnus of UB and co-founder of Global Culinaire Incorporated, says he knows first-hand the issues culinary students face.

UB President Dr. Erik Rolland, says the scholarships will help to create unforgettable experiences for students.

UB’s Student Government Association President Matthew Williams believes the award can assist students in areas the national grant does not cover.
