NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 54-year-old man is in police custody, the third Bahamian, assisting police in their investigation into a deadly suspected human smuggling operation.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 54-year-old man is in police custody, the third Bahamian, assisting police in their investigation into a deadly suspected human smuggling operation.

Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings says police are still trying to determine the extent of the operation that claimed 17 lives, including a child, when the boat they were on capsized off New Providence early Sunday morning.
