Man Pleads Guilty After Impregnating 13-Year-Old “Girlfriend”
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who impregnated a teen has pleaded guilty and is behind bars as he awaits sentencing.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man who impregnated a teen has pleaded guilty and is behind bars as he awaits sentencing.
Jakyle Barry, now 23, began an unlawful sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl in August 2021.
Barry’s “girlfriend” became pregnant at 13 and they have a two-year-old daughter.
Justice Renae McKay will hear arguments on sentencing in January.
Barry is represented by Glendon Rolle and Basil Cumberbatch was the prosecutor.
