Former Trainee Corrections Officer Pleads Guilty To Smuggling Drugs Into Prison
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former trainee corrections officer has pleaded guilty to trying to smuggle marijuana into the prison.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former trainee corrections officer has pleaded guilty to trying to smuggle marijuana into the prison.
27-year-old Kenton Morley was arrested August 12th after reporting for duty, when police found four ounces of marijuana stashed in his boots.
Morley admitted to possession of drugs with intent to supply during his arraignment before Assistant Chief Magistrate Kara Turnquest.
He was fined $1,000, with the option to serve a 3-month sentence if the fine is not paid.
