The FTX Implosion: What Happened?

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Sam Bankman-Fried says he is willing to testify before the U.S. House Committee on December 13th.

The embattled founder and former CEO of FTX Digital Markets tweeting the news on Friday, as regulators investigate his role in the wake of its collapse.

House Financial Services Committee Chairwoman Maxine Waters told Reuters she is prepared to subpoena Bankman-Fried if he does not agree to appear before the panel.

In an exclusive interview with Jerome Sawyer airing this Sunday at 8pm, Bankman-Fried claiming he still does not have access to much of his data limiting what he’ll be able to say.

Since the implosion last month, global prosecutors and regulators have not charged Bankman-Fried with any crime. We have also learned that a Bankman-Fried employee has been questioned by local authorities.

Also caught up in this financial fiasco are his former employees.
