FOAM Recognized on Special Day
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – For the past 10 years, Families of All Murder Victims has been a staple in the community, with the mission to bring relief and support to relatives of those whose lives were lost to violence.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – For the past 10 years, Families of All Murder Victims has been a staple in the community, with the mission to bring relief and support to relatives of those whose lives were lost to violence.
On FOAM Day, the organization held a special ceremony where their work was recognized.
Spouse of the Prime Minister Ann-Marie Davis, on hand for the event, along with Free National Movement Leader Michael Pintard, and Minister of State for Social Services and Urban Renewal Lisa Rahming, who both lost relatives to gun violence in the past commending the work of foam and honoring victim’s families.
FOAM founder, Khandi Gibson, lost two brothers to gun violence. She says her mission has always been to alleviate the pain loved ones feel as they grieve.
Gibson says this year, the organization is seeking to push initiatives and policies to help the families of murdered victims financially.
