$352m Development Planned for Montage Cay

MONTAGE CAY, BAHAMAS – A $352.2 million development for Montage Cay, Abaco is expected to drive economic development to the island as it continues its rebound, post-hurricane Dorian.

Prime Minister Philip Davis says projects like these are important for diversifying the tourism product.

The development, which is already under construction, will boast of around 250 rooms, six bungalows, seven beaches, a marina and single-family residences.

The development is birthed from a partnership with Montage Cay and Sterling Global Financial.

The development currently employs more than 60 people and that figure is expected to double over the coming months. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper says the development will help boost the island’s tourism product.
