Munroe: Legislation For Force Inspectorate In The Works

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – National Security Minister Wayne Munroe says civilians have a right to report officers by making a complaint if they feel they’ve been mishandled by law enforcement.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – National Security Minister Wayne Munroe says police are not above the law adding that civilians have a right to report officers by making a complaint if they feel they’ve been mishandled by law enforcement.

His comments following a brawl caught on video in Grand Bahama where a group of men, including a police officer could be seen attacking another man on the ground.

Munroe adding that they’re currently working on legislation for a force inspectorate for all of the security forces.
