NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Parliamentarians were expected to debate the Tourism Development Corporation Bill 2023 in the House of Assembly yesterday.

Leader of Opposition Business Obie Wilchcombe, however, moved for an adjournment following a short presentation by State Minister for the Public Service Pia Glover-Rolle.

Before heading into the weekly Cabinet meeting today, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Chester Cooper explained why debate on the bill was put off and what will happen next.
