UNITED KINGDOM – Prime Minister Philip Davis is in the United Kingdom this week for King Charles the third’s coronation.

The PM is expected to have a busy itinerary this week including speaking at the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council Roundtable on the blue, green economy and resilience for small island states.

The prime minister says for too long the focus has been on the cause of climate change, and not enough on the response.

The roundtable talks included discussions surrounding the burden of hurricane debt on the Bahamian government, as well as ways the British government can share methods with the Bahamian government in hopes to help close the insurance gap.

The prime minister says his focus is on urgency and action.
