NASSAU, BAHAMAS – For the first time ever the Royal Bahamas Police Force Fire Services are training boys and girls about fire prevention.

In a two-week summer camp, kids from as young as 5 years old will be engaged in activities that will inform them about fire awareness, fire safety, its root causes, and what to do in the event of fire.

On hand to address the new campers was State Minister for Social Services and Urban Renewal State Minister Lisa Rahming. She says it is important to be trained at such an early age.
