37 Graduates from Protected Area Managers Course

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Thirty-seven participants from the Bahamas Wildlife Enforcement Network, The Bahamas National trust, the Department of Environmental Planning and Protection, the Department of Marine Resources and the Forestry unit graduated from the Protected Area Managers Enforcement training course.

Course graduates spoke highly of their experience, explaining the opportunity provided for them to understand how responsibilities are shared across the web of environmental networks in The Bahamas.

The two-week course covered topics like diary keeping and report writing, classification of offenses, intelligence gathering techniques among others.

Lehron Rolle is a BNT park warden in Andros.

Bahamas National Trust Executive Director Lakeshia Anderson-Rolle says now that they’ve done the course, they have to keep the momentum going.
