NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Government strengthening ties with the Turks and Caicos Islands, this as both governments met recently to discuss the maritime boundary delimitation between the two countries.

Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell telling the media that government’s position is clear, and that is to draw a line down the middle.

However, he says they will have to come to a formal agreement on what the border is.

This is the third round of formal negotiations, with respect to delimitations to the maritime boundaries between the two, the last being in 1996.
