NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of a 2018 murder is back in custody on weapons and death threat charges.

Prosecutors say Rodman Knowles was found in possession of an AR-15 assault rifle and 27 rounds of .223 ammunition on December 23.

He’s also accused of threatening three law enforcement officers with death.

According to police, on the day in question, police received a ShotSpotter alert at Grant Street, Fox Hill.

When they went to investigate, the officers saw two men in a Nissan Cube trying to leave the area.

The stopped the car and the driver allegedly fired at the officers, who shot him.

Police arrested Knowles, his passenger, and the driver remains in hospital.
