NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Threats of an impending gang war are looming over the Fox Hill community following the killing of an alleged gang leader. Police and the area MP are concerned. But how do residents feel? It turns out they’re not all that concerned.

This resident has have been living in Fox Hill for over 40 years years and doesn’t have any plans on moving.

Asked if safety is a concern he says.

This resident wishing to remain anonymous says it’s the consistent presence of police that keeps her settled.

Since Monday, there have been several shootings in the area, including the homicide of a man during the late hours on Tuesday.

We spoke with the second in charge of the Fox Hill Police Station, he tells Our News team how they intend to ensure the safety of those in the community.
