NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Fire officials now finding a possible source for the Coral Harbour wildfire that’s impacted residents and businesses in the area since Monday.

And it is something you may have not expected wildfires have also been burning for about two weeks on Abaco and there was a blaze reported in Grand Bahama overnight.

Officials say the dry season is also playing a role is the recent fires. The Coral Harbour blaze, first reported on Monday, caused Air Traffic Control Services to be suspended at the airport due to low visibility, along with an emergency power shutdown of several western new providence communities.

Officials say the fire has now been put it out.
