NASSAU, BAHAMAS – FNM supporters filled the Baha Mar Convention Center with excitement and anticipation as they cast their votes for party officers.

Incumbent party leader Michael Pintard arrived at the Convention center, accompanied by former party leader and Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham, Tommy Turnquest, and former deputy leader Peter Turnquest.

Pintard enjoys strong support from key figures within the FNM, including former Prime Minister Ingraham, who declared, Minnis is “one and done.

FNM members have eagerly awaited this one-day convention to determine the highly contested race for party leader.

The party remains divided, with a faction still backing former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis, who was ousted as party leader in 2021 following the FNM’s election defeat.

However, Dr. Minnis alleges unfair practices, claiming his supporters have faced intimidation tactics.
