NASSAU, BAHAMAS – It is an awards show dedicated to celebrating excellence within the gospel music industry, from traditionally composed music to rap, reggae, and rake-n-scrape. This Sunday at the Myles E. Munroe Diplomat Center, the Bahamas Gospel Music Awards will put a spotlight on those artists.

Travis Edgecombe, CEO & executive producer, Bahamas Gospel Music Awards, says, “I noticed there was a drought, and through their music, we wanted to fill it.”

Travis Edgecombe says, “In terms of eligibility, we released the nominees in April.”

The award stage will feature electrifying soul-shouting performances by Sherwin Gardner, Eman, Hadassah Thompson, and so much more. A lifetime achievement award will also be addressed to the Tabernacle Concert Choir.

I encourage you to not only attend but come dressed to impress, as there will be a pre-show live from the red carpet. It’s hosted by our very own Berthony McDermott along with Mario Almanzar at 5 PM until show time.

Travis Edgecombe adds, “Tickets are $25, and you can still get them at the same price of $25.”
