NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Balancing the demands of fatherhood with the pressures of everyday work life can be challenging, but it’s not impossible.

For some of the fathers in our newsroom, finding that balance is a deliberate effort.

Tv Operations Manager Ghaly Swann, a father of three girls, and digital reporter Timothy Bain, a father of one daughter, share their experiences on how they navigate their roles with intention and dedication.

But not all fathers face the same challenges. For some in our newsroom, striking a balance between work and family life comes more easily.

ENG cameraman Simeon Newbold shares how this job allows him flexibility and more time for family. His counterpart Steve Mckinney Jr. finds balancing work and fatherhood to be a breeze.

The fathers in our newsroom also emphasized that while providing is important, what truly matters is their presence.
