Suspect Charged With South Beach Pools Murder

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 24-year-old man is behind bars accused of a recent murder.

Prosecutors say Wendriko Kerr fatally shot Angelo Weech on August 10th.

Weech’s bullet-riddled body was found on a dirt road that leads to the South Beach canal.

Kerr didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied, and Kerr is back in court on January 30th to receive Voluntary Bill of Indictment papers.
