NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Eric Gordon and Isaiah Mobley have joined the Philadelphia 76ers at different points in their NBA Careers, but both relished the opportunity to take the first steps on this journey here in The Bahamas.
Eric Gordon has emerged as a leader of the national team program over the last two years.
His late threes lifted The Bahamas to a historic win over Argentina in the Olympic pre qualifier and he also averaged 14 points per game at the olympic qualifier last summer in Spain.
He spoke about what it means to be a part of training camp here in The Bahamas. Isaiah Mobley joined the national team for the first time at training camp in houston and noted his plans to continue with the program in the future.

Antoan Richardson and the New York Mets surrendered a late lead to the Milwaukee brewers last night and the brewers staved off elimination with a 5-3 win.

Carl Hield stepped into the ring to defend his WBA Fedecaribe welterweight title for the first time.
Hield kept his title with a first round knockout over challenger Humberto Caraballo of Venezuela last weekend in Cartagena, Colombia.
His combination series ended with a body shot that sent the crowd of 5,000 into a frenzy.
Hield originally won the title on June 21 with a win over Christian Bautista.
Hield remained undefeated as a pro at 8-0 while Caraballo fell to 18-4.
Up next for Hield, plans to make his pro debut at home in December.
