NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas’ Senior Men’s National Team is set to return to CONCACAF Nations League play.

The Bahamas Football Association (BFA) announced the roster for the second window of league play.

The Junkanoo Boyz will face the us virgin islands on October 12th followed by a match against Barbados on October 15th. 

Due to ongoing renovations at the Thomas A. Robinson national stadium, The Bahamas will once again be on the road with the matches hosted at Wildey Turf in Barbados.

MLB

Antoan Richardson and the New York Mets are one win away from the National League Championship Series.

The Mets defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 7-2 last night at Citi Field in Queens, New York to take a 2-1 lead in the best of five series.

WNBA

The finals matchup is set, for Jonquel Jones and the New York Liberty to win the 2024 WNBA title, they’ll have to go through the Minnesota Lynx.

The Liberty came into the playoffs as the top seed and the Lynx were number two.

New York is still searching for their first title in franchise history, while the Lynx have four titles, all between 2011-2017.

Minnesota also won the regular season series between the two teams, 3-1, including the Commissioner’s Cup Championship game.

Jones draws another tough head to head assignment headed into the series – defensive player of the year and all-WNBA first team selection, Napheesa Collier.

Game one will be hosted Thursday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

NBA

Kai Jones saw extended minutes in preseason game number two for the la clippers.

Jones finished with 13 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes of the clippers’ 115-106 win over the brooklyn nets at front wave arena in california.

He played the most minutes off the bench and shot 6-8 from the field, all on dunks.
