NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Approximately 86 Water and Sewerage Corporation middle managers will benefit from an industrial agreement signed between the Water and Sewerage Corporation and the Water and Sewerage Management Union.

The agreement covers the period 2022 to 2025.

The value of the agreement? $2.3 million dollars.

President of Water and Sewerage Management Union, Montgomery Miller noting the financial provisions came into effect on august 1st, 2023.

Minister of Works and Utilities, Alfred Sears says the signing is a remarkable accomplishment as it is the first time in over a decade since both unions at the corporation have had industrial agreements with almost two full years to go before their expiration.
