Mother Forgives Son’s Killers

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A mother is still reeling following the tragic death of her son to gun violence.

Thirty-year-old Alvaraez Mccoy was gunned down as he arrived home early Wednesday morning. His mother is still coming to terms with her son’s death after he was killed yesterday.

Donna Mccoy shared that her son – a defence force officer – had just arrived home from a social function before he was shot.

She spoke with Our News about her son’s character.

Mccoy raised Alvarrez as a single mother from the age of two, and prides herself on the man he became.

His crowning achievement – joining the Royal Bahamas Defence Force.
