Bahamians Get Buckets To Help Their Teams To Wins

PORTLAND, OREGON – Bahamians Klay Thompson and Eric Gordon led their respective teams, the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns to wins in the NBA on Sunday night.

Playing against fellow Bahamian Deandre Ayton and the Portland Trailblazers, Thompson led the Dubs to their 2nd straight win 119-114, scoring a team-high 28 points on 11-16 shooting, making 5 of his 10 three-point attempts. 


Ayton had 8 points on 4-8 shooting along with 8 rebounds in a losing effort for the Blazers.

Ayton’s Bahamas National teammate had 13 off the bench to help the Phoenix Suns beat the Washington Wizards 112-108.

His points came on 5 of 9 shooting and 2-6 from three.

Thompson and the Warriors are back in action on Tuesday night against the Boston Celtics, Ayton and the Blazers will play Gordon and the Suns on Tuesday night as well.
