New Lucayan Exhibit Opening

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Antiquities, Monuments and Museum Corporation will be opening its new exhibit, ‘Lucayans: The Valor of the Vanquished’.

October 12th is the opening of the new exhibit. That’s a date AMMC Director, Dr. Christopher Curry says was selected because of its historical significance. 

Understanding of The Bahamas’ first inhabitants has often been limited as a result of them being completely wiped out from the country in the decades following Columbus’ arrival, something the AMMC director also addresses.

And, Curry says visitors to the museum can expect a fully immersive experience into Lucayan life and times.
