CANADA – Our Taige Adderley recently had the chance to speak to University of Toronto baseball player Owen Taylor about his experience winning league MVP and leading his team to a championship.

Originally a standout at the prestigious Perkiomen School in Pennsylvania, the New Providence-born Taylor was attracted to the academics of the University of Toronto.

Not only is he his team’s best hitter and a stellar defensive centerfielder, the 6’3″ left-hander is also serves as a relief pitcher, coming in to get clutch outs like he did to win the championship.

A well-rounded student-athlete, Taylor hopes to get into business after he graduates.

Taylor encouraged young athletes wishing to pursue their education to give Canadian College Baseball a shot.
