NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Days ahead of the third anniversary of Hurricane Dorian, Prime Minister Philip Davis officially opening a weather symposium on Abaco, Friday morning.

In his address, the prime minister reiterating the devastating impact climate change continues to have on countries like The Bahamas.

Apart from the extreme heat, the threat of annual hurricanes, along with rising sea levels, Davis saying it means we must make vigorous efforts to prepare ourselves more effectively to deal with natural disasters.

And, Davis saying since there’s seemingly been no action post that COP 15 meeting, it gives the impression that there is no real effort being made to assist countries like The Bahamas.
