Teens Arraigned for Alleged Attack on Security Officer

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Four teens have been arraigned on one count each of causing harm in relation to an incident where a security officer was harmed at the Port Lucaya Marketplace.

The boys – two ages fifteen and the other two ages sixteen – did not enter a plea to the charges when they appeared in Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Charlton Smith in Freeport.

They have been remanded to the Central Police Station until Thursday when they are expected back in court.

The attack, which happened over on Christmas Eve, was captured on video went viral on social media.
