NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Kareem Bowe is a quantity surveyor in the Ministry of Works, but what does the quantity surveyance section do?

Bowe tells us one of the projects they’re working on at the moment is the New Bight Airport in Cat Island.

The quantity surveyor says things can get a bit more complicated with projects in the Family Islands as they have to take into account more complicated shipping, and often irregular business hours on some islands.

And, Bowe says the fact that the airport is international adds a whole other level to planning.
