Kai Jones Hosts 1UP Cup Tournament
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On Saturday, Kai Jones hosted the Inaugural 1-Up Cup Tournament.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On Saturday, Kai Jones hosted the Inaugural 1-Up Cup Tournament.
The event gave 32 of our best middle school basketball players an opportunity to showcase their skills in a single elimination tournament and participate in drills and skillwork.
It also gave the young players rare access to an NBA player.
Tennis
Donte Armbrister was announced as the Coastal Athletic Association’s Institutional Scholar-Athlete of the Year award for tennis for 2024-25.
A Tennis player for the Hampton University Pirates, Armbrister was named team MVP after winning 14 singles matches and 13 doubles matches during his senior season.
He’s no slouch off the court either. He’s on track to graduate in December with a master’s degree in Sports Administration with a concentration in sports business leadership with a 4.075 GPA.
