NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Acting Prime Minister Chester Coopers says preparations for Hurricane Fiona are underway on Mayaguana, before the hurricane is expected to hit.
Twenty-one people are expected to be evacuated and transported to Exuma.
Cooper also added Bahamas Air flew to the island this morning with supplies and food for residents.
